Actual Budget Privacy Notice

This is a private, self-hosted personal-finance application operated by Yelle Vandenboer. It is used exclusively to manage the operator's own finances and is not offered as a service to other users.

Information processed

When a bank account is authorised through Enable Banking, the application may receive account identifiers, account names, balances, transaction dates, descriptions, amounts and related transaction metadata.

Purpose

This information is processed solely to import, organise and review the operator's own financial transactions in Actual Budget. It is not used for advertising, profiling or marketing.

Authentication and storage

Bank authentication is performed through Enable Banking and the relevant financial institution. This application does not directly collect online-banking passwords. Imported financial information and bank-sync credentials or tokens may be stored on the private Actual Budget server and on devices used to access the application.

Sharing

Information is shared only with Enable Banking and the relevant financial institution where necessary to provide the authorised bank connection. It is not sold or provided to unrelated third parties.

Retention and control

Information is retained until it is deleted from the application or its backups. Banking authorisation may be withdrawn through the relevant bank or through Enable Banking.
